Its 70-200mm zoom range opens up a range of shooting styles, from portraits to telephoto close-ups and everything in between. An additional reach of up to 2x magnification can be achieved by coupling the lens with one of our fully compatible teleconverters. The in-lens Vibration Reduction technology minimises image blur caused by camera shake and offers the equivalent of shooting at a shutter speed 4.0 stops* faster, allowing for superior performance when shooting without a tripod.

Three Extra-low Dispersion elements eliminate chromatic aberrations to maximise sharpness and enhance colour. Its advanced Silent Wave Motor (SWM) is the ideal complement to the advanced optics. This sophisticated system silently achieves continuous autofocusing with great precision.
