Capture the world, all the way to its edges.
As an ultra wide angle lens, the EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM offers a wider field of view than most general purpose lenses, letting you push out the edges of each frame to capture even more of your subject. This makes it a superb landscape lens, capturing sweeping panoramas in wide angle for a beautifully dramatic effect. Compatible with all EF-S mount EOS cameras, the EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM is compact and lightweight, yet robust and solidly built, making it easy to carry and comfortable to handle. Featuring a ring-type USM, it is fast to focus and allows you to track subjects with ease. Flare can often be an issue with ultra wide angle lenses, however, the 10-22 keeps flare – and chromatic aberration and distortion – well under control. It is also impressively sharp wide open over the entire focal length range, and provides excellent depth of field and great background blur.

CANON EF-S 10-22MMM f/3.5-4.5 USM
An ultra wide-angle zoom lens with dynamic expressive capability for all EF-S mount EOS cameras; exceptionally small and lightweight for maximum mobility.
Beyond Human Perspective
The lens allows you to get extremely close to subjects, exaggerating the difference in size between a near object and its background.
Small, Light and Close
Exceptionally light and compact for its focal length range with an incredibly close minimum focusing distance of just 24cm.
A ring-type USM works in concert with the camera to provide super-fast, precision auto focusing and predictive tracking.
Designed for Digital
Designed specifically for digital photography, the lens has specially shaped lens elements and Super Spectra coatings to suppress ghosting and flare.
Portrait photographers will enjoy working with the large aperture, which narrows depth of field and creates beautiful background blur.
