When you think of compact LED lights, you wouldn't imagine they can be as versatile as the Godox KNOWLED MS60Bi Bi-Color LED Light While creating the KNOWLED MS60 series, Godox thought about every aspect to bring you an entire system of reliable modifiers, control methods, and power options without giving up high brightness. The tiny and modular body of the 60W fixture can be easily adapted to suit your different lighting needs. The back of the light can directly mount multiple optional adapters that allow for multiple ways of powering the unit. At the same time, its front can be quickly modified with a collection of impressive magnetic light shapers. The bi-colour capability of this fixture enables both daylight and tungsten CCT. This version includes the light body with a lens reflector, a battery, a USB-C charging cable, a stand mount adapter, and a carry bag.
Highly compact and versatile, this LED is usable in various scenarios. When Godox mentions multiple applications, the brand means it. The MS60Bi can be effortlessly used to illuminate film sets, interviews, broadcast setups, and all types of video creation. Thanks to its size and adaptability to different environments, this light can even be hung in unexpected places such as music stages or everyday spots like restaurants or cafes.
Even though its body is very compact, the MS60Bi's lens reflector can expand its output to 17,400 lux at a distance of 3.3' in 5600K. This bright LED gives you total control of the color with CCT and FX modes. Both CCT and brightness settings are adjustable from 2800 to 6500K and 0 to 100%, respectively. Linear, S-curve, exponential, and logarithmic dimming curves are also accessible. No less relevant, the light also delivers accurate color performance with CRI 97 and TLCI 98.
The MS60Bi comes with 11 lighting effects to meet your creative vision. Choose from flash, lightning, cloudy, broken bulb, TV, candle, fire, fireworks, explosion, welding, and SOS presets. Enhance the dynamism of your scenes by adding these lighting effects and achieve visuals that can otherwise be tricky to recreate.
A convenient side screen is available for monitoring the parameters of the light, complemented by local controls for easy tweaks. In addition, Bluetooth connectivity via the Godox Light app lets you take full advantage of the MS60Bi's host of lighting features from up to 196' away. Not limited to onboard and app control, the fixture also supports DMX512, RDM, and LumenRadio CRMX for more advanced users. The light is also compatible with the Godox KNOWLED app.
NFC functionality makes connecting the light with the Godox Light app easy. Simply bring your smartphone closer to the NFC spot on the side of the fixture, and the app will connect automatically.
Although the MS60Bi has a rechargeable battery and USB-C charging cable, it can also run from an optional NP-F battery or AC power. This requires the separately available MS60NPA NP-F adapter. If needed, the same NP-F adapter also allows for a connection to an optional V-mount battery. For AC power, the light requires the separately available MS60PA01 adapter. Besides that, the power adapter can be combined with an optional E27 adapter to use the MS60Bi as an LED bulb-style fixture.
The integrated fan draws heat away from the MS60Bi for safe operation. You can even turn it off for sound-sensitive situations or choose from auto, medium, and high fan modes.
The MS60Bi comes with a lens reflector but can also accept an array of separately available modifiers, most magnetic. Godox offers other types of reflectors and a wide range of dedicated accessories. Modify the fixture with a zoom lens, softboxes in different shapes, barn doors, a diffusion dome, a snoot, a projection attachment with various lens options, and a beam booster. A 1/4"-20 thread allows for easy connection to the included stand bracket for extra flexibility.
The fixture alone is lightweight at less than 0.45 kg and ships with a storage bag to add to its portability.
