The Canon Off Camera Shoe Cord OC-E4A is an connector that allows you to use accessories off camera.
OC-E4A is compatible with accessories like flashes, transmitters and external microphones that can be attached to the next generation multi-function shoe. It can also be used with the Multi-Function Shoe Adapter AD-E1 to attach to accessories designed for conventional accessory shoes.
The Off Camera Shoe Cord OC-E4A uses an 80cm straight cord design that is diagonally connected to the camera's multi-function shoe. This angle helps minimise the cord's appearance in images captured with accessories like the RF 5.2mm f/2.8L Dual Fisheye lens.
The Off Camera Shoe Cord OC-E4A features dust and water resistance equivalent to the EOS-1D series. Particular areas are lined with seals and dust and water resistant properties to help protect against unexpected exposure to elements like rain droplets.
