It also has a circular aperture diaphragm consisting of nine blades. This lens has 21 elements in 13 groups, including three low dispersion lens elements. It also has eBAND (Extended Bandwidth & Angular-Dependency) Coating and BBAR (Broad-Band Anti-Reflection) Coating. It utilises Ultrasonic Silent Drive and Vibration Compensation image stabilisation system. It also has Flex Zoom Lock mechanism, a fluorine coating, and a moisture-resistant construction.
