The fast and highly-accurate Phase Detection AF with a focusing speed as fast a 0.02 seconds is complemented with exceptional tracking of moving subjects, offering you the ability to capture decisive moments in a wide variety of shooting situations. Impressive near darkness performance down to -7.0EV allows you to accurately capture a subject in low-light and indoors. You no longer need to fiddle with multiple functions as the camera can switch to clear and vivid settings for landscapes, capture beautiful skin tones for portraits or selfies, while accentuating blue skies and nature in backgrounds. The X-T30 II camera even controls highlight and shadow clippings in back-lit situations all by itself.

Fast and highly-accurate Autofocus with advanced burst shooting capability

A 26.1 megapixel X-Trans CMOS 4 Sensor coupled with the high-speed X-Processor 4 image processing engine enables advanced phase-detection AF across approximately 100% of the frame. 0.02 seconds AF speed and accurate AF tracking ensures you never miss a shot. Burst shooting at up to 8fps in the mechanical shutter mode and blackout-free burst at up to 20fps in electronic mode or 30fps in cropped mode ready you for action-filled photography for sharp split-second captures of that perfect moment in time. The X-T30 II can also use phase-detection AF in near darkness conditions at -7.0EV for accurate low light photography. With the latest algorithm AF tracking has been improved since the previous generation. Reliably track a subject that is moving towards or away from you and with Face/Eye AF portrait photography is a breeze even when the subject is moving.

A Diverse Collection of Film Simulations and evolved AUTO function deliver exceptional image quality

The X-T30 II comes with 18 Film Simulations that emulate unique sets of colours, tonality and saturation levels found in classic film processing techniques such at "ETERNA Bleach Bypass" or "Classic Neg" inspired by colour negative films typically used for snapshots and perfect for capturing day-to-day scenes. SR AUTO mode has been improved as well. This mode automatically applies the Color Chrome Effect, Clarity, D Range Priority and other settings according to conditions. Landscapes are clearer and more vivid, skin tones are faithfully reproduced while blue skies and backgrounds are accentuated in a natural manner. By controlling highlights and shadows in back-lit situations the X-T30 II's AUTO function makes it easier than ever to obtain beautiful pictures optimised for individual conditions.

Extensive Video-Recording functions

The X-T30 II can output 4K/ 30p video at 10 bit 4:2:2 via its HDMI port and internal recording is possible at 8 bit 4:2:0 onto a SD/SDHC/SDXC card (UHS-I). It also supports Full HD/ 240p high-speed video for slow-motion replay of fast moving action in up to 10x slower than regular speed.

Classic Retro Functionality with Modern improvements

Catering to a wide range of shooting styles including full-scale manual shooting the X-T30 II supports setting the shutter speed using the dedicated dial on the top panel as well as quick snaps in AUTO mode. With the shutter speed dial you can quickly check your settings even when the camera is turned off, and Auto mode can be activated by a single-action of the Auto Mode Selector switch on the top panel.
